Caro amico / ascoltatore,
In questa cartella (https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/mobile/folders/1G35AYp7hxqtyZmlaCaqSYXn2sEjmNS90) trovi il nostro primo e ultimo disco, “Oggetti Smarriti”, uscito il 22 febbraio del 2020, due anni fa esatti, il giorno dell’inizio della pandemia.
Crediamo sia un disco molto bello e molto sfortunato.
Bello perché ci sono delle canzoni che parlano di temi importanti come la depressione e la paternità, bello perché si ricorda una persona che scelse di andarsene prima di tutto questo casino, e, in ogni caso, bello perché c’è tutto il mio cuore, come autore, e tutta la nostra fatica e il nostro impegno come musicisti.
Sfortunato perché è arrivato proprio quando il mondo se n’è andato, ha scelto di toglierci il pavimento da sotto i piedi e trascinarci nella triste realtà che, due anni dopo, ancora stiamo vivendo. E figuratevi il disco di una minuscola band indipendente, sconosciuta ai più, cosa poteva fare per salvarsi. Nulla.
Da quel giorno sono passati due anni e due soli concerti insieme, il primo, quello di release del 22 febbraio del 2020 all’Edonè e il secondo l’estate successiva al Bloom in condizioni molto difficili.
La nostra band non ha retto l’urto della sfida che ci si è posta davanti e ha cessato di esistere. Poco male, le band come la nostra vanno e vengono e nessuno se ne accorge.
Nel congedarci, vi regaliamo anche il poster tratto dalla stupenda illustrazione che rappresenta Lecco, il suo lago e le sue montagne, che quel genio di Barney Bodoano ha realizzato espressamente per il nostro disco.

In this folder you will find our first and last album, "Oggetti Smarriti", released on February 22, 2020, exactly two years ago, the day the pandemic began.
We think it's a very good and very unfortunate record.
Good because there are songs that talk about important topics such as depression and fatherhood, good because it remembers a person who chose to leave before all this mess hit us, and, in any case, good because my whole heart is there, as an author, and all our effort and commitment as musicians.
Unfortunate because it arrived just when the world decided to go and chose to remove the floor from under our feet and drag us into the sad reality in which, two years later, we are still living. You could easily imagine what a record of an independent band, unknown to most, could do to save itself. Nothing.
Since that day, two years have passed and we only played two concerts together, the first, the release party on February 22, 2020 at Edonè, and the second the next summer at Bloom, in very difficult conditions.
Our band did not withstand the brunt of the challenge that faced us and ceased to exist. Never mind, bands like ours come and go and nobody notices.
As we say goodbye, we are also giving you as a gift the poster taken from the wonderful illustration representing Lecco, its lake and its mountains, which the genius of Barney Bodoano created expressly for our record.
Make good use of it.
